Student Ministry Fall Retreat

September 27-29

The High School Fall Retreat will be held at Camp Harrison in Boomer, North Carolina. The theme of the retreat is I AM and will feature a non-typical, restful approach to a student retreat as we explore the seven “I AM” statements of Jesus in the Gospels. The goal of the retreat is to help students see their current state through Jesus’ identity and not their own: to see how Jesus is our saving hope in each of those areas. This is a great opportunity for spiritual renewal and relational connection.

Faith & Mission Rally

October 27 – 5:00pm

All Active-Duty Military are invited to our Faith & Mission Rally. Come for great food and a great guest speaker: Abbas Hameed.
Abbas Hameed was born in Samarra, Iraq and lived in the country for 23 years. During the Operation Iraqi Freedom, the United States military was looking for Iraqi’s who were bilingual in Arabic and English. Abbas was bilingual and had an interest in assisting the military, so he signed up to be an interpreter. At the beginning of 2005, Abbas was hit by a car bomb while on duty. He was the only survivor. This made him start to seek for Jesus Christ and answers.

Come hear Abbas’ incredible story. Register at the link below.
