Ice Cream & Stories

Ice Cream & Stories is a night spent with the girls getting real with one another. We’ll hear testimonies from several women that will captivate our hearts and move us to want to love God more. We get to listen to stories that will remind us of how God carries us through some serious trials, protects us even when we don’t realize it and how He is there every step of the way! Don’t forget your tissues!

Women’s Ministry will provide ice cream with lots of yummy toppings. Don’t worry if your diet doesn’t allow for high calorie intake because we’ll also provide fruit and other healthy choices.

Topics include the complex and simple reasons for addiction, the destruction of addiction, and tools to help family members and loved ones practice grace and mercy towards those who may feel trapped in their addiction.

Session 4 – People We Support: Life-Long Disabilities – August 8
Featuring staff members from the Monarch Creative Arts and Community Center, this session highlights lessons learned by those on the “front lines” of caring for people who experience significant life-long disabilities, including intellectual, developmental, and physical challenges.
