Build the Village is a global missions organization whose purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ and make Him known through personal evangelism, discipleship, church planting and providing theological education. From our commitment to reaching the world for Christ we consider a holistic approach to meeting the specific needs for the community. This is achieved through establishing district village hubs that will assist in helping indigenous peoples meet their spiritual and physical needs.

Brian leads the Latin America/Caribbean division of ReachGlobal, the mission arm of the Evangelical Free Church of America.   This responsibility covers the missionaries, strategy and work of ReachGlobal in countries south of the Rio Grande and all of the Caribbean.  Brian works with the mission’s area leadership to develop innovative approaches for utilizing ReachGlobal missionaries, partnerships and resources to multiply healthy churches among all people.

Phil and Cindy Fisk - EFCA Missionaries to Belgium

 

The Fisk's mission is to equip and train nationals who will serve churches as pastors as well as serve as cross-cultural missionaries. This will be through the Leuven Evangelical Theological Seminary in Flanders where about 200 students from around Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, and Eastern European countries) and South Africa come, and where Phil is a professor.

Mike and Emilie Gibbons

 

Mike and Emilie are EFCA missionaries to France, living in Toulouse. The EFCA International Mission exists to glorify God by multiplying healthy churches among all people. Mike and Emilie are heading up the Toulouse City Team, whose current ministry project is that of doing evangelism with the goal of planting a community of Christ-followers among Toulouse's urban center.

Judy Hill - Serving in Mission (SIM)

 

Judy is a professor at the Bangui Evangelical School of Theology in Bangui, Central African Republic.

 

SIM is a community of God's people who delight to worship Him and are passionate about the Gospel, seeking to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ in the world. The purpose of SIM is to glorify God by planting, strengthening, and partnering with churches around the world as we evangelize the unreached, minister to human need, disciple believers into churches, and equip churches to fulfill Christ's Commission.

Gerald and Frances Mitchum - Mongolia V.E.T. Net

 

Christ Community Church is the sending church of Frances and Gerald Mitchum who have been serving in Mongolia since 1995. The ministry there has expanded from a tiny group of students meeting in their apartment to a team of over 50 committed young professionals reaching out to over two-thirds of Mongolia...with plans to reach the entire country for Christ.

Reaching Haiti 4 Christ Ministries (RH4CM)

 

This ministry was established in November 2006 by Pastor Steve Exantus and has a staff dedicated to serving communities in Haiti through empowerment, education and evangelization. RH4CM has successfully built and opened a one room school in Bombardopolis, Haiti . We foresee the renovation of this school, construction of an orphanage, the betterment of medical facilities, natural disaster relief and much more within rural and impoverished Haiti.

Steve & Liz Spellman - ReachGlobal Regional Lead Team: Brazil and Haiti

 

After 20 years of serving as church planters in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Steve and Liz are now in the city of Florianopolis in the south of Brazil where they are working with the leadership of the EFC-Brazil (Church Planting Network), helping to develop, lead, mentor and coach church planters and church plants throughout Brazil.

 

Steve and Liz also currently serve as the transitional leaders of ReachGlobal’s emerging work in Haiti, where Steve oversees our international staff and gives direction to our local partnerships.
