Ministry Leaders

Brenda2Brenda Wilson, Children’s Ministry Coordinator

Brenda spent her childhood in North Carolina, moving to New Hampshire after marriage. Brenda worked with preschool children for many years while living there. She has been blessed to see several of them grow up, marry, and serve in the same children’s program. Brenda and her husband Jim moved to Pinehurst upon his retirement. Their adult children live in various parts of the United States. She has been at CCC since 2005 and became the Children’s Ministry Coordinator in 2007. She has discovered that she REALLY likes working with elementary age children and attributes that to God “stretching” her!

Fred

Fred Berkheimer, Discipleship and Life Group Coordinator
Fred and his wife Kathy returned to Pinehurst from the Northeast following his retirement from Unilever, reconnecting with CCC after a 10 year absence. Having raised two children in the Sandhills, he considers the move back to Pinehurst and CCC as “coming home.” Fred’s current Logistics consulting role allows greater time for ministry and involvement in his children and grandchildren’s lives.

Fred enjoys using his leadership gifts in church ministry. By modeling and teaching God’s truth, he also desires to help others to discern and apply God's principles as the basis for solutions to life struggles.

pearsJoanna Hollingsworth, Nursery Coordinator

Joanna is a Southern California native. She and her husband Mark, and their two daughters, Mindi and Kaci moved to Pinehurst in 2009 from Southern California. God placed a desire in Joanna's heart to work with Nursery age children 21 years ago. She has been a nursery volunteer and nursery supervisor for the past 21 years while serving in two different churches. Since she and her family joined CCC, Joanna has served as nursery coordinator. Her main goal for the nursery is to make it a warm, loving, and secure place for the babies and toddlers who are placed in our care. Our church nursery needs to be a place where little ones know that they are loved. It is a blessing and a privilege for Joanna to care for your children.
