Community University: Readiness for Ministry

During the month of August, Christ Community Church (CCC) is offering 6 different opportunities for you to better equip yourself as a Christ follower. Each course is designed in such a way that even attending just a single evening provides value as a stand-alone session.

Childcare is provided for all Wednesday evening sessions, nursery age through grade 5, but reservations are required by Friday prior to each Wednesday session by contacting Karen Fetla at This email address is being protected from spambots. Introduction to Spiritual Leadership

Co-led by LTG(Ret) Robert VanAntwerp and Pastor Dean Engebretson.  Leadership is 'influence.' What are the keys to "spiritual leadership" in the context of Christian community? How is it different from secular ideas of leadership? How would it look in my life? Do leaders need an office or a title to lead? This two-session class provides an overview of spiritual leadership by studying key biblical leaders. This class serves as an excellent introduction to our LEAD classes.

  • Monday and Tuesday, Aug 18-19, 6:30-8:30pm
