Don was born and raised in Beckley, W.Va. He and his wife Nettie have lived in Southern Pines since 1973. He retired in 1998. He dedicated his life to God when he was sixteen, but feels as though he has been close to God his whole life. He and Nettie enjoy teaching and are active in their life group. Don is looking forward to serving at CCC.
David was raised in a military family and experienced all the typical moves. He transferred with UPS to Moore County in 1981, retired in 2006, and currently operates his own general contracting business.
He and his wife Sara have four daughters and 4 grandsons and have been attending Christ Community Church since 2010.
Though raised in a Christian home, David did not personally surrender his life to Christ until 1993. Since then he has found joy in serving Him and looks forward to serving at CCC.
Gary Robinson was born and raised in northern California. Although, he did not grow up in a Christian home, Gary became a follower of Christ in 1988. He and his wife Sharon and their children Matt and Molly moved to NC in 1997. Gary and his family have been attending CCC since the fall of 2008. He feels privileged to serve God as a Deacon, and is excited to see all that God will do in the future.
Marty Williamson, Deacon Marty moved to North Carolina in 1993 from Huntington, West Virginia where he and his wife Sondie had just graduated from Marshall University. After working for Rostra Precision Controls for 11 years, Marty started his own electrical contracting business based in Southern Pines. He continues to grow his business with God at the helm. In 2000, Marty and Sondie were blessed with the birth of their daughter Erin.
Marty came to know the Lord at a young age when he prayed to receive Christ with his mother and is confident that He who began a good work in him will carry it on to completion. Marty, Sondie, and Erin started attending Christ Community in 2008. In addition to being on the Deacon Board, Marty also serves on the Worship Sound Team.
